Events
In addition to our monthly meetings near Washington Village, we offer a range of opportunities to get involved. From craft classes to supper club, parties to trips away, there's a lot to choose from for all tastes. Get involved as much as you like!
Our next monthly meetings:
- Tuesday 21 January: Our first meeting of 2025! We'll enjoy snacks and catching up before we consider and decide on the resolutions put forward to the National WI by members.
- Tuesday 18 February: We'll hear from our member Chris O'Neill who will talk to us about the considerable voluntary work she undertakes in Africa. Chris will also be bringing some crafts for sale, with the proceeds going to Eswtini projects.
Our next events:
- Wednesday 26 March: We'll learn how to decorate biscuits for Easter.
- March - date to be confirmed: Supper Club
Our popular craft nights are held at Peacehaven Court, where residents are welcome to join us. Latest creations include paper flowers, framed pictures from napkins (they looked amazing!) and Christmas decorations. Hosted by Margaret, we always leave feeling accomplished!
Our Supper Club meets at one of our local restaurants in Washington every two months. We welcome recommendations from our members, and if you're a restaurant that offers great food and service, we're interested!
See our amazing and packed agenda for 2024/25 thanks to Joan and the committee.
We listen to our members to find out what they want to hear about, see and do and we shape our events around them.
From monthly meetings and trips away, to our craft night and supper club, join in as much or as little as you like.
